    The V-shaped metal windins are overlapped , then wrapped into the spiral type .At the end of spiral the two ridges are soldered together.
    This kind gaskets have many advantages . They can be used for high temperature and high pressure . They can automatically adjust to the changes of pressure , temperature and vibration . They have good sealing property on the irregular flange surface . And any size can be manufactured ,even it is a very big size . 
    The spiral wound gasket has four types: basic type ; with inner ring type ; with outer ring type ; with inner & outer ring type.
